Rescuing Food, Nourishing Lives

Inspired by Grandma Pesia's legacy, we are on a mission to fight hunger in Israel and reshape communities to sustainability.

Fighting Hunger, Building Communities

Pesia's Kitchen is a movement

We operate a unique model of a local Food Bank and Food Rescue programs. We collect and distribute over 1,000 tons of fresh produce, cooked food, and baked goods annually

Pesia's Community Hubs

Utilizing ingredients that would otherwise go to waste

Our mission is centered around three distributing food hubs, where we make sure that everyone has access to healthy and nourishing food, regardless of their circumstances.

REAL STORIES, REAL IMPACT

Pesia's community

"Pesia's aims to reach those facing barriers in accessing surplus food. Paradoxically, over one-third of produced food goes to waste."

"In this community, one out of five persons is a Holocaust survivor. They feel less invisible, knowing that someone is thinking and caring about them."

"The people we serve come from all walks of life. This year we rescued and served more than half a million meals—food is a basic human right, a ritual connecting us all, a daily fuel setting the pace "

OUR ROOTS

Grandma Pesia's Enduring Legacy

We are driven by the same compassion that fueled Grandma Pesia's life who believed food was a basic human right. We are committed to making a difference in the lives of those who are struggling. We are proud to continue her legacy of kindness and generosity by providing as much support as we can to whoever needs it.
